Hello, my name is Sarah Brooke Moss, and I own Brooke Moss Florals. I've worked in floral design for twenty-seven years as an independent contractor and for two of the premier florists in my hometown of Spokane, Washington. My specialty has always been wedding work, as I adore the beauty and romance of a wedding and never tire of making a bride's vision become reality.

So why artificial? While fresh-cut flowers are beautiful and fragrant, they aren't the practical choice. I grew frustrated by their seasonal unavailability, short life spans, and ever-increasing, exorbitant prices. At every wedding I designed for and attended as a guest, the blooms were wilted and tired-looking by the end of the event, or had been crushed by reception line hugs and dance parties. The delicate nature of fresh-cut flowers doesn't lend itself well to hot summer weddings or rowdy bridal parties, and once the event is over, that's it. They wind up in the trash, along with the thousands of dollars spent on them. This inspired me to create lush, elevated silk wedding florals that could fool even the most discerning critics, respect the wedding budget, and become a treasured keepsake. ​

Turning my stubborn determination into a business that feeds my creative soul and aids in a bride's pursuit of breathtaking florals on a budget is a dream come true. I've successfully created jaw-dropping bouquets and arrangements for even the pickiest of brides--one being my daughter, whose wedding vision I never could have afforded had we gone with fresh flowers. (Her magnificent wedding, featuring my silk floral work, went viral in the summer and fall of 2023 and was featured in Utah Valley Bride magazine.)
